Anna Wallace

Program Assistant, Office of International Relations

Anna Wallace is a Program Assistant with the Office of International Relations at the Smithsonian Institution, focusing on the implementation of the Global Activities Tracking Database. Before joining the Smithsonian, she worked with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Inspector General in its Audit Services division, where she worked to detect fraud within the Department’s operations and in schools’ usage of Title IV funds. She was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo where she focused on teaching sustainable agriculture and coordinating youth development projects. Anna holds a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and she is working to complete her MA in International Development at American University. In her spare time, Anna enjoys long hikes, salsa dancing, and exploring new parts of DC.
