Alyssa Barilotti

International Program Coordinator, Smithsonian Office of Global Affairs

Alyssa is the International Program Coordinator with the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) at the Smithsonian Institution, where she supports OGA in a variety of programs and projects related to international cultural and museum sectors. Prior to OGA, Alyssa has experience working with different cultural institutions including the International Peace Museum, Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture with a focus on public exchange and public engagement. Alyssa received her BA in International Studies and French from Arcadia University and her MA in Museum Studies from The George Washington University, and served as a 2023 Arts and Peacebuilding Fellow with the Political Leadership Academy at George Mason University’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. She will jump on any chance she can to travel and has become proud of her “Backpack Tetris” (a.k.a. packing) skills.
